Welcome to our little big bakery on Bunga Street, Bermagui, on the South Coast of NSW. Our journey with bread began decades ago on Lord Howe Island, refining our skills to serve at our restaurant. This passion grew as we worked in our new restaurant il Passagio and, in 2015, Honorbread in Bunga St was born. We focus on baking good bread, crisp pastry, and using fresh local ingredients. There’s never a dull day, and we always strive to do better. Feeding you carbs—the celebratory food we share on good days—is our privilege.

From mixing dough in a laundry to now operating two shops and a baking facility, we’ve grown to a team of 50-60. Preserving what we’ve built is our focus as we work toward establishing an Employee Owned Trust.

Join us for a bread-making class—schedule updates are shared on our website and Instagram. Our native garden courtyard is a space to relax, play Boules, and enjoy local art. It’s also available for special occasions. On Saturdays, we host a craft and produce market, weather permitting.

Our Narooma outlet brings our products closer to you if you’re Northside, and we’re at the Sage Market every Tuesday. We’re proud to support community groups—if we can assist your cause, please let us know
